"Do I Have To Adult Now?" podcast is designed to help you navigate the complex (and let's be honest sometimes boring) world of money, personal finance and other 'grown-up' matters.

Hosted by financial planner Kristen, a highly knowledgeable financial expert with over 10 years of experience of delivering financial education workshops with her husband Nick, who will be making regular appearances on the show. They be joined by daughter Iz who at 23 years of age, is resisting adulting as much as she possibly can but raising the type of questions many young people want the answers to.

Together the trio and their guests aim to to demystify the often intimidating world of money management, with episodes that are filled with practical tips, clever anecdotes, and relatable stories, making the content accessible and engaging for listeners of all ages.

And yes, you probably do have to adult now.

Kristen has spent more than 20 years talking about money, and helping other people to understand how it all works - in fact she loves helping people understand it that much, she started a financial education company nearly 10 years ago with her husband Nick. She has owed her own independent financial advice firm since 2011.

Red Star Education provides financial education workshops all over the UK working with organisations such as The Premier League, League Football Education, The Women's Super League, Loughborough College, The NFL Academy, Electricity North West, University of Central Lancashire and more.

Kristen believes that understanding the financial system in the UK can be so powerful to unlocking opportunities, improving confidence, social mobility, career progression as well as financial stability, peace, improved mental health and wellbeing on top of being able to live life with passion and fun and fabulous experiences.

Iz

At 22, Iz is already a business owner - and has been since she was 14 - no really.

As a photography student, Iz turned her interest into a business and started the whole networking and marketing journey at just 14.

She won Social Media of the Year at the Downtown in Business Awards in 2018 and has been twice shortlisted for an Enterprise Vision Award.

Now a working artist, she is the proud owner of Pot Bound - a retail shop which sells her own artistic creations, as well as providing a safe space for the local young LGBTQ+ community.

All this, and she still doesn't really want to adult!

Nick

The majority of Nick's professional career before being headhunted by Kristen, has been in professional coaching, specialising in football (soccer).

Nick lived for 10 years in the USA, settling in Chicago, before returning to the UK in 2009 when he started working at Blackpool FC.

Nick, who joined Red Star in 2016, is a natural teacher and coach and is instrumental in the development of Red Star Education's workshops to ensure they are engaging and always able to stir curiosity in our learners.

His point of view regarding money is very different to Kristen's and that combination of opinions makes for lively debate!
